On the 14th and 15th of April, we held the second in-person meeting of our TaperFrame research project at the Università di Trento.
We had fruitful discussions about the planned experimental campaign as well as the progress on future design methods for tapered members and cellular beams.
🚀 The kick-off meeting of TaperFrame RFCS Project took place in the Universidade de Aveiro on the 14th and 15th of October, 2024.
A team effort aiming to improve the design of steel portal frames made of web tapered members with and without openings at normal temperature and fire conditions.
